FUNDING: Future Communities Fund – apply by 12 Jun

A total of £1.75 million is available in Round 2 of this funding from Co-op Foundation which supports organisations working with young people across the UK who have experience of the justice system

The aim of the Fund is to help these young people re-engage with their communities after time spent in custody.

Around ten UK registered organisations will be awarded unrestricted grants of up to £150,000 over five years.

Organisations should have an annual income of £250,000 or less and primarily support justice-experienced young people aged 10-25 years old

They must support young people in overcoming the stigma associated with justice system involvement, maintain strong relationships with referral agencies, and help young people into training and employment.

Additionally, they should empower young people to make positive life changes, and actively involve those with lived experience in shaping their work.

The closing date for applications is 12pm on Thursday12 June 2025.
