FUNDING: Full of Life Fund – apply by 3 Aug

In its fifth year, Richmond Council’s Full of Life programme invites local community groups, charities and organisations to apply for small grants to help older residents get moving, connect with others and celebrate ageing well.

The Full of Life programme is a key part of the borough’s support for older people. It includes the Full of Life Fair (Fri 24 Oct) at Allianz Twickenham Stadium, which connects hundreds of local residents with services and support to boost wellbeing.

To mark the National Day of Older People (1 October) and Silver Sunday (5 October), Richmond Council is offering up to £250 for eligible events or activities taking place in October 2025 which help older residents live healthy, active, and independent lives.

Groups can apply to host a wide range of events. Amongst suggested ideas are:

  • digital skills workshops or technology support sessions
  • yoga, dance or fitness sessions
  • health and nutrition workshops
  • walks through local parks or green spaces
  • dementia-friendly arts or cultural events
  • sport-themed activities
  • inclusive events for people with sensory impairments.

The closing date for applications is 11.59pm on Sunday 3 August 2025.

Successful applicants will be notified by late August.
