FUNDING: Everyday Heritage – apply by 23 May 2022

Everyday Heritage, Celebrating Working Class Histories grants are aimed at projects that allow people to share overlooked or untold stories of the place where they live.

The Historic England grants could be used to celebrate aspects of diverse heritage including railways, factories, pubs and clubs and council estates.

They are particularly interested in funding smaller grassroots projects. Proposals with costs of up to £25,000 will be accepted but they are particularly keen to fund a number of smaller projects up to £10,000.

Match funding is not required but partnership funding or in-kind/volunteer contributions are encouraged.

Activities should provide volunteer opportunities for young people or people facing loneliness and isolation, as well as contribute positively to participants wellbeing.

The closing date for applications is 23 May 2022.

Successful applicants will be advised late-June/July 2022.

Project delivery is expected to begin in July to September 2022.
