This is a new grants programme to raise awareness of the HPV vaccine, targeted at young people’s projects (school years 8/9, up to age 25) and with a focus on women and girls.

Royal Marsden (RM) Partners, North West and South West London Cancer Alliance are offering up to £500 to local community and voluntary groups in North West and South West London, to hold activities and events that support local people to stay healthy and well.

During these events, groups are asked to share messaging and awareness of the HPV Vaccine amongst eligible cohorts.

Resources to support this will be provided, including an online training session in January 2025.

The programme is part of the Royal Marsden cancer prevention strategy.

They are open to ideas about different types of events or activities. These could include football tournaments, yoga sessions, coffee and tea mornings, meditation hours, exercise classes, arts and crafts, or something else.

Any planned events or activities will need to take place between 3 February and 18 April 2025.

The deadline to apply is 11.55pm on Sunday 15 December 2024.
