Looking for funding for a community infrastructure project? Applications to Round 5 of the Community Fund are invited now.
This fund uses money generated from the Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (NCIL) to support projects which address demands placed on an area by new developments.
The awards made in the previous funding were:
- Hampton Pools Trust – cycle storage area
- Heatham House Youth Centre – skatepark refurbishment
- Marble Hill Playcentres – toilet refurbishment and refreshment kiosk
- Friends of Heathfield Recreation Ground and Environs – refurbishment of Multi-Use Games Area
- East Twickenham Neighbourhood Association (ETNA) – accessibility improvements to the Centre
- Sheddington – refurbishment of St Mark’s Hall for a DIY Centre
- Friends of Kneller Gardens – Pavilion extension and refurbishment
- Habitats and Heritage – 10 green ‘hotspots’ in underutilised public areas
- Mortlake Powerstation Youth Club – sports and audio equipment
Areas in Richmond have been grouped into east of the river, west of the river and Ham and Petersham. Each has a specific funding pot collected from developments that have taken place in their area.
Two information events are planned and you are invited to register and join one of the these (click a date below to register):
Monday 18 September, 2pm – 4pm at York House (in-person)
Wednesday 11 October, 6pm – 7.30pm (online)
Richmond CVS will be at both the above sessions, alongside the Community Engagement team, to talk through the fund, the eligibility criteria, the application process and what makes a good application.
We are here to help – contact us, in good time for the closing date of 11 December, if you would like our support with your application.
