Bentley, the luxury car brand, provides small grants to support charitable organisations working with vulnerable, disadvantaged or under–represented communities within 20 miles of their retailer, office or manufacturing locations. Their Byfleet and London retail sites are both within 20 miles of Richmond, Kingston and Hounslow postcodes.
Small grants of up to £500 are awarded to organisations with an annual income of less than £1m.
The programme’s areas of focus is:
- Access – remove the barriers and improve access to services, education and employability
- Empowerment – development of the life skills that enable people to be more self-confident, successful and thrive in life
- Quality of Life – provide support to live a healthier life both physically and mentally
- Better Future – safeguarding the environment, improving nature-deprived areas, drive improvement to “place” and boosting community spirit.
Grants must be spent within 12 months of award.
Applications will be considered on a quarterly basis, based on the following timetable in 2024:
- Quarter 1 – open 12 January / closes 29 March
- Quarter 2 – opens 5 April / closes 21 June
- Quarter 3 – opens 5 July / closes 20 September
- Quarter 4 – opens 7 October / closes 20 December
The first application window for 2025 will open on 10 January and close on 31 March 2025.
They aim to make decisions within three weeks of the deadline and applicants will be informed thereafter.
