The National Lottery Community Fund is a quick way to apply for smaller amounts of funding and, this year, will also help communities celebrate national events including the Coronation of His Majesty The King (6 May), The Eurovision Song Contest (9-13 May) and the 75th anniversary of Windrush (22 June).
The small grant funding of £300 to £10,000 supports communities with the things that are important to them. You can apply for funding to deliver a new or existing activity or to support your organisation to change and adapt to new and future challenges.
Projects and organisations should aim to build strong relationships in and across communities, improve the places and spaces that matter to communities, help more people reach their potential, and help to address increased demands and challenges as a direct result of the cost of living crisis.
Application should be made at least 12 weeks before you want to start your proposed activities or spend any of the money and projects should involve your community.
Awards can fund running costs, small land or refurbishment projects, equipment, one-off events, staff costs, training, transport, utilities and volunteer expenses.
