Three funding programmes have been launched, providing targeted support for veterans, Armed Forces families and serving personnel.

The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust has opened applications for their Transformational Grants. These will offer up to £300,000 for projects up to five years in length that can deliver preventative, long-term outcomes and benefits.

Charities that are not Armed Forces specific can apply but will be expected to show that they will work in partnership with Armed Forces organisations. The closing date for submitting an Expression of Interest is 5pm on 14 August 2023.

Force for Change will now offer grants of up to £15,000 for one-year projects. This is in recognition of the increased cost of living, and the Trust will focus funding on vulnerable Armed Forces communities who are being most impacted. These small grants seek to support to Armed Forces communities with needs that may not have been addressed in the past. The closing date for applications is 5pm on 17 July 2023.

Reaching and Supporting Armed Forces Communities will offer grants up to £100,000 for three-year projects that clearly address hidden or compelling needs identified in Armed Forces communities. The closing date for applications is 5pm on 3 July 2023.
