FUNDING: Adamson Trust – next deadline 31 Dec

Families and groups of children, schools, organisations, and other registered charities, can apply for financial assistance for the cost of holidays or respite breaks for disabled children with physical, mental, or emotional impairments.

To be eligible, the child must be a resident in the UK, between the ages of 3 and 17, and the Trust requires evidence of their disability or illness from a medical or social services professional.

The grants usually only cover a portion of the holiday expenses.

The Trust holds four trustee meetings a year to consider applications. These are at the beginning of February, May, August and November.

Applications must be received by:

  • 31 December (for the February meeting)
  • 31 March (for the May meeting)
  • 30 June (for the August meeting)
  • 30 September (for the November meeting).
