APPLY NOW: Free Trees from Woodland Trust

Woodland Trust want to make sure everybody in the UK has the chance to plant a tree and are giving away hundreds of thousands of trees to schools and communities, to get millions more trees in the ground.

To help the UK reach its 2050 carbon net-zero target, Woodland Trust is offering free packs of saplings to schools, nurseries, colleges, universities, outdoor learning centres, and other groups – such as resident associations, sports clubs, parish councils, scouts and guides.

Eligible organisations can apply for up to 420 trees to improve their local environment.

The available tree packs include hedging, copse, wild harvest, year-round colour, working wood, wild wood, wildlife, and urban trees.

Applications are currently being accepted for trees to be delivered in March 2024.

Applications are expected to close in August 2024, or sooner depending on stock availability.
