Protection Approaches is inviting London-based community organisations to co-design and deliver new anti-hate initiatives with funding, training, and ongoing support.
They are looking for 10 partner community organisations to award small grants of £5,000 through their Design. Build. Act: Community Responses to Hate programme. The programme aims to:
• co-design and implement a hate crime prevention or victim support project
• increase knowledge and understanding of hate crime and develop skills needed for victim support and advocacy
• build foundations for sustained community mobilisation.
In addition to funding, the successful organisations will have access to a project design lab, training, training modules, flexible 1-2-1 support, and a peer support network.
To apply, organisations are required to:
• work with marginalised communities who have acute/emerging hate crime needs
• have capacity to participate fully in a ten-month programme.
Previous experience or expertise working on hate crime is not a prerequisite.
The closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 12 September 2025.
