The Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust will focus on disability and food poverty this year.
Grant Round 1 and Grant Round 2 will focus on disability and specifically projects and initiatives that improve employment and training.
Rounds 3 and 4 will focus on projects and initiatives that help to address food poverty.
Further ahead, their funding for 2025 will focus on the Arts, and Refugees and Asylum Seekers.
The four grant rounds for 2024 are as follows:
Round 1: 1 February to 28 February
Grants of £1,000 for charities with an income of £100,00 to £1million. Notification will be given by late-March.
Round 2: 1 April to 30 April
Grants of £5,000 for charities with a minimum income of £1million (no maximum). Notification will be given by late-June.
Round 3: 1 July to 31 July
Grants of £1,000 for charities with an income of £100,00 to £1million. Notification will be given by late-August.
Round 4: 1 Septempber to 30 September
Grants of £5,000 for charities with a minimum income of £1million (no maximum). Notification by late-November.
The Trust endeavours to support a diverse range of charities and will consider the diversity of the charities they support.
