Could you run an event or activity to support conversations about protecting young children against childhood illnesses?
If your voluntary or community group engages with parents, carers and guardians of children under the age of 5 years old, funding of up to £500 is available now from NHS South West London.
The aim is to support local communities to have conversations about childhood illnesses – helping people make informed decisions about vaccines and supporting them to collect feedback.
The funding could be used for an activity or event you have already organised to take place this summer and help cover some of the costs. Information and training will be available to support you.
Applications from organisations which have applied for previous grant schemes such as the Winter Engagement Fund, are welcomed to apply.
Organisations of all income levels are eligible to apply.
All activities and events must be delivered by end of September 2024.
This year, the South West London Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Alliance is managing the grant process on behalf of NHS South West London – via Croydon Voluntary Action (CVA).
The VCSE Alliance aims to:
- be a link between local voluntary and community sector organisations and other partners within our ICS
- share valuable insight and information to support and promote shared learning and collaboration across the different partners
- be a strategic partner within the ICS and support the transformation of health and care services for local people.
If you have any questions, please email Hilary Bell at CVA who will be happy to support you.
A drop-in session is also due to be run. Details will be shared as soon as available.
The closing date for applications is midnight on Sunday 23 June 2024.
