Project and personal grants are awarded to provide vital support to Londoners facing homelessness, including young care leavers, single parents with babies, families, refugees or people living with a disability.
The Foundation’s Vision is for a brighter future for individuals and families living in temporary and emergency accommodation and their Mission is to enhance and enrich their lives and wellbeing.
Many of their grants are used to provide personal support in the form of practical items, such as bedding, clothing, baby items or courses that promote mental and physical health. Others contribute to projects such as developing playgrounds, libraries and other community initiatives. They can also be used to develop skills and capabilities through education, training and workshops.
Project grants for organisations are available for up to £2,000.
Personal grants for individuals in need are made for up to £200.
There are three application rounds each year for both types of funding:
- Feb Round:
Nov 30 — Jan 8
- May Round:
Feb 1 — Mar 31
- Sep Round:
May 1 — Jul 31
