Help recognise the hardworking heroes in our community – individuals, groups and projects – with a nomination for a Community Hero award.
If you know of local people going above and beyond, nominate them now.
Every year, Richmond Council celebrates the local heroes across the borough who go the extra mile toward making Richmond upon Thames a better place to be. You can help by spreading the word to promote nominations and, of course, submit your own.
There are 10 categories to choose from, covering a range that encompasses the rich combination that makes up the fantastic community in our borough. These include individual volunteers, volunteer-led projects, community groups, young people, trustees and the contribution of businesses.
Nominations close at 11.59pm on 26 February 2024 and can be made online or by with a paper application form.
Shortlisted nominees will be publicly announced in early Spring 2024 and an award event will follow on 16 May 2024.
Anyone who would like to receive posters, flyers or hard-copy nomination forms, should email events@richmond.gov.uk.
Hard-copy nomination forms will also be available at Twickenham Civic Centre Reception from week commencing 22 January.
