Small grant funding to support initiatives which address the social wellbeing of older individuals, particularly during the holiday season.
This programme from the McCarthy Stone Foundation aims to help people over 65 to feel connected and supported over the festive period.
UK registered charities, community groups and Community Interest Companies with an annual income of less than £250,000 can apply now for grants of up to £750 for a variety of activities such as Christmas meals, day trips out and support for day care centres/community spaces providing services over the festive period.
Evidencing a high level of local need is important as part of your application. When all else is equal, priority will be given to those applications working in more deprived areas.
The funded activities must take place between 9 December 2024 and 2 January 2025.
At least 40 grants will be awarded.
Application is by a brief online form.
The closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 11 October 2024.
