Exceptional funding opportunities are being offered to celebrate 10 years of partnership between the London Community Foundation (LCF) and the Cockayne Foundation.
Grants of up to £25,000 are available for innovative and inspirational art and cultural events across London by registered charities.
These special grants will support projects that provide creative opportunities to artists from diverse cultures in the performing, literary or visual arts.
Priority will be given to new work or ground-breaking re-interpretations of classic repertoire, art that is experimental, risk-taking, and/or controversial, projects that involve young artists and arts-related library, literacy and archiving projects.
In addition, ten exceptional grants of £100,000 will also be awarded this year for projects with a budget of over £500,000.
Applicants should not apply for more than 20% of their overall project budget and must demonstrate clearly how additional funds for the project are to be raised.
The closing date for applications is the 12 noon on 14 July 2023.
Award decisions will be announced in early 2024.
See the full guidance and apply via the online application form at the LCF Cockayne – Grants for the Arts webpage.
