Small grants are available to support the needs of vulnerable children and young people who have experienced a recent crisis or change in life that has had a significant impact on their wellbeing and their education.
Grants of up to £2,200 are awarded by this funding programme from Buttle UK.
The support is for children and young people aged from 2 to 18 (including 18 year olds) if living with a parent or carer, or aged 20 and under if living independently with little or no support from their family
The funding looks to provide a flexible range of support, such as items and activities to support learning and development (laptops, books, wi-fi, educational toys, tuition, etc), clothing and school uniforms, social, sporting and leisure activities and items for children/young people’s bedrooms.
Applications are only accepted from frontline professionals working for a registered charity, housing association or public sector organisation including schools and colleges.
There is no deadline to apply, applications can be submitted at any time.
