To mark £100 million in Community Grants being awarded, Tesco are donating £1 million to local good causes in a ‘golden ticket lucky dip’ version of their existing blue token scheme.

Starting on 15 October 2022, the campaign sees participating stores each give away a golden token worth £10,000.

Shoppers who pick the golden tokens will be able to choose which of the three local good causes in that store’s current vote will be awarded a £10,000 donation.

As a thank you for their help, each winning customer will also be awarded a £15 gift card.

The prize draws will end on a store-by-store basis when the winning token in each store is drawn.

The good causes that Tesco Community Grants have supported to date include, for example, breakfast clubs, food banks, Meals on Wheels, playgrounds and green spaces, and counselling and support services for young people.
