If you’re a member of a group, charity or organisation which is at the heart of your local community, this is a funding opportunity for you.

Selco Builders Warehouse have an annual giveaway to help community groups and charities keep up their work.

From June to November, they offer any organisation which benefits the community the chance to win £500 of building materials to use on a project or building, with potentially £5,000 cash on top.

You could, for example, be a charity, a local uniform group, a sports club or a community centre.

Each month for six months, two good causes will be selected by judges to receive £500 worth of building materials to improve their facility or assist with a project.

Following this, 12 finalists go to a public vote for the chance to win £5,000 cash in early 2023, with a runner up award of £1,000.

Entries are made with a simple online form that requires just your basic contact details and a 100 words maximum of why your project deserves an award.
