This established funding programme is now open to small grassroots organisations, as well as registered charities.
Home Instead is the UK’s leading provider of home care.
This funding helps to provide activities and projects for those aged 55+ years, through wellbeing activities and programmes in the local community. They aim to prevent social isolation and loneliness.
Grants of £500 are now available to small grassroots organisations and of £1,500 for small local charities.
Examples of suitable applications include regular weekly or monthly events, one-off activities such as a day trip or special lunch, or a physical activity class or guest speaker for a group.
They prioritise activity that has a connection to, or is championed by, a Home Instead Office. The Richmond office is in Teddington.
This is a rolling funding programme and the application process can take up to three months before a decision is given.
