This Foundation funds projects which aim to tackle four priority issues of employment, housing, inclusive mobility and improving communities.
Funding is awarded to small and medium size registered community interest or non-profit organisations with no political or religious orientation. This includes youth clubs, neighbourhood charities, social enterprises, community centres and more.
They look for innovative approaches which will make a positive, measurable impact on local areas.
The Foundation funds only tangible goods, such as tools and equipment, vehicles, IT, furniture or building works.
The purchasing of the tangible goods should be part of a project whose total cost does not exceed £100,000. This could be, for example, the development of new/current activities, refurbishment of premises or improvement of marketing tools.
Projects should have a long-lasting impact on the targeted communities and benefit a wide range of local beneficiaries.
If the fund is oversubscribed, it will favour small organisations.
