Funding is offered to UK registered charities operating in the UK and internationally in four key areas of health, education, poverty and the environment. |
Preference is given to small and medium-sized charities with an annual income of less than £2million.
Priority is given to organisations doing something different and projects that are sustainable and can be scaled up and/or replicated.
The Foundation makes both one-off donations and also, where they build successful partnerships, multi-year grants.
The usual initial grant size is between £1,000 to £10,000 and unrestricted funding can be considered.
Trustees meet at the end of each month to consider applications.
Applications should be made with a covering letter, a brief proposal (2-3 pages) and basic financial information.
