FUNDING: Triangle Trust for girls & women – apply by 30 Oct

The Autumn round of this funding is focused on targeted work with high-risk young women and girls aged 11 and 30 who are on the edge of the criminal justice system.

Grants of up to £80,000 over two years are available to UK registered charities, not-for-profit social enterprises and community interest companies where women and girls make up at least 80% of their total beneficiaries. Up £40,000 can be requested per year.

A proven track record of running projects with vulnerable and challenging young women and girls between the ages of 11 and 30 years is required, and the organisation’s work must be both gender and trauma informed.

There is a particular interest in working with young women and girls who are care experienced, come from Black or minoritised/racialised communities, and work that is led by people with lived experience.

There is a two stage application process. Following the submission of an initial online application, shortlisted applicants will be asked to host an assessment visit with the Trust’s Director, so they can learn more about your work and project proposal.

The closing date for applications is 11.59pm on Wednesday 30 October 2024.

All applicants will be notified if they have been shortlisted by 12 December 2024.

Visits by the Trust Director will be made between January and March 2025 and outcomes will be notified by 21 March 2025. Grants awarded must start by November 2025.
