Scops Arts Trust offers small grants to help people understand, participate in and enjoy the performing arts.
They are currently interested in supporting organisations run by committed and passionate individuals to deliver projects that:
- widen access to the performing arts and have a lasting cultural impact on the community
- enhance the provision and quality of music education in schools and / or engage children and young people in music outside of school.
They are particularly keen to help small and medium sized organisations and support is usually given to projects run by registered charities. In exceptional circumstances, they will consider applications from established community groups as long as they have clear charitable aims.
Awards are usually one-off grants but multi-year funding can sometimes be considered.
There is a two stage application process and the Board of Trustees meet quarterly to review applications.
