This Foundation offers small grant funding for capital expenditure to registered charities with an annual turnover of less than £1million. Their focus is on projects that support those in need of a secure of a secure and safe home.
The small grants scheme offers up to £1,000 for projects that fit with the criteria themes:
- Relief of financial stress
- Security and refuge
- Quality and sustainability of housing
- Health and Wellbeing of those experiencing homelessness.
Their large grants scheme is only applicable to organisations in Yorkshire and the North East of England.
You do not have to be a customer of Leeds Building Society to be apply.
The panel meets quarterly, with the following application windows:
- opens Fri 20 Dec 2024 – closes Mon 10 Feb 2025 (for meeting on 26 March 2025)
- opens Tue 11 Feb 2025 – closes Fri 9 May 2025 (for meeting on Wed 25 June 2025)
- opens Fri 30 May 2025 – closes Mon 11 Aug 2025 (for meeting on Wed 1 Oct 2025)
- opens Tue 12 Aug 2025 – closes Mon 3 Nov 2025 (for meeting on Wed 3 Dec).
You can apply for funding again if your application is unsuccessful, but not for the same items of expenditure.
