Aldi is proud to support community sports organisations with these small grants.
Aldi believes grassroots sports clubs play a vital role in communities – bringing people together, encouraging people to get active, and helping build confidence, social connection and a love of sport.
Through this funding, eligible sports clubs can an apply for up to £3,000 for support towards essential costs, such as:
- equipment
- team kits
- coaching
- training programmes
- facility hire
- costs relating to increasing participation
- improvements to enhance the experience for club members.
A range of clubs are eligible, including schools and uniform groups.
In England and Wales, there are three levels of grants and 13 awards will be made for each:
- Gold £3,000
- Silver £1,250
- Bronze £750.
Application is simply by submitting an email of up to 200 words about your club, what you would use the funding for, and the difference it will make.
The funding window is open from Monday 3 August and will close at 11.59pm on Monday 31 August 2026.
