FUNDING: Health Partnership Grant, Richmond Fdn – EOI by 11 Sep

Expressions of interest are invited from voluntary and community sector organisations interested in shaping and delivering this new funding aimed at improving health outcomes for adults with learning disabilities in Richmond.

The funding from Richmond Foundation will provide up to £500,000 over five years and is expected to be awarded to one or two lead organisations.

The programme is being developed in partnership with local stakeholders and seeks to build on the strengths of Richmond’s voluntary, community and health sectors. It has a particular focus on non-clinical interventions for people living independently or with family and will be used to complement the Neighbourhood Health approach – with a particular interest in (but not restricted to) supporting adults who also have a higher risk of hospital admittance and higher care co-ordination needs.

The long term aim is to improve health outcomes to reduce inequalities and encourage good mental and physical health for everyone.

The outcomes this funding seeks to achieve are:

  • reduced preventable admittance and readmittance to hospital for adults with learning disabilities
  • adults with learning disabilities and their carers have increased confidence in being able to manage their own health
  • improved integration between voluntary sector and health services who work together more effectively to identify needs, coordinate support and improve outcomes for adults with learning disabilities.

The deadline to submit expressions of interest is 11 September 2026.

Shortlisted organisations will be invited to participate in a co-design workshop with Richmond Foundation and local health partners in October 2026.
