JOB: Community Outreach Caseworker, Vineyard Community & Richmond Foodbank

Salary: £36,965 per annum pro rata / 25 hours per week

Make a real difference in Richmond, providing holistic, practical support to local people facing complex challenges.

Vineyard Community & Richmond Foodbank serve people across Richmond borough facing some of life’s most complex challenges – homelessness, mental ill health, financial hardship, addiction, and more. Grounded in a Christian faith foundation, they offer crisis support, casework, foodbank provision, and community programmes that help people move toward stability and hope.

This is a brand new role, created as part of the organisation’s five-year strategy. As Community Outreach Caseworker, you will carry out assessments and triage of new guests, develop personalised support plans, and work alongside individuals on their journey – connecting them with the right specialist support and advocating for them where needed. You will work across multiple sites, including the Vineyard Community Centre in Richmond and foodbank satellite locations across the borough, collaborating with staff, volunteers, and a network of partner agencies.

The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, experience supporting people with complex needs in the statutory or voluntary sector, and strong organisational and communication skills. Above all, you will be warm, calm, non-judgemental, and fully committed to the ethos and values of the charity.

The closing date for applications is Friday 17 April 2026 at 12pm.
