FUNDING: GLA Loved & Wanted Fund – apply by 19 Oct

Community organisations in London are being invited to apply for grants to strengthen local community spaces and support residents facing hardship, exclusion, and inequality.

This fund from the Mayor of London aims to promote social cohesion across London and aims to aims to improve collaboration on social cohesion-building between the public sector and civil society.

From a total fund of £900,000, 15 grants of up to £60,000 will be awarded, to deliver projects from February 2026 to Mar 2028.

Examples of eligible community spaces include faith halls and places of worship, community hubs, shared gardens, youth clubs, libraries, cultural spaces and volunteering centres.

Priority will be given to not-for-profit organisations such as charities, community interest companies, or co-operatives that have served their local areas for at least five years and operate a community venue.

Collaboration across communities and faiths is strongly encouraged.

There is a 2-stage application process beginning with Expressions of Interest, followed by full application.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 19 October 2025.

Awards will be announced in early 2026.
