JOB: Community Researcher, The People Hive – apply by 9 Oct

Salary: £20 per hour / 14 hours per week (flexible working)

This is a brand new exciting creative research role in which you could make a real difference and influence the future direction of a charity.

The People Hive is a local charity in Twickenham supporting adults with learning disabilities to live more independent and fulfilling lives.

They are now exploring how to better support younger adults (aged 18-30) and are looking for someone to help lead the way.

In this short-term, exploratory role, you’ll connect with local schools, colleges, voluntary groups, professionals and young adults themselves to understand their needs, challenges and aspirations.

You’ll map current services in Richmond and surrounding areas, highlight gaps and recommend age-appropriate activities and opportunities.

Your findings will be brought together in a feasibility report that will shape The People Hive’s future services and help determine whether a dedicated programme for younger adults should be developed.

The post is initially offered on a 3-month contract basis, with flexible working, and is based in Twickenham with local travel.

Application is by CV and cover letter.

The closing date for applications is 9 October 2025.

Interviews will be held week commencing 20 October 2025.
