A new small grants programme has opened to improve health and care equity by amplifying the voices of minoritised communities and those furthest from services.
Voluntary and community sector organisations based in South West London which have demonstrated a commitment to tackling health inequalities can apply now and play a vital role in shaping anti-racist health and care strategies through creative consultation.
The programme offers up to £2,000 to organisations which work with minoritised and diverse communities, and which are based in Kingston, Richmond, Wandsworth, Croydon, Sutton or Merton.
The funding is flexible to suit to meet organisations’ needs. It could, for example, include hosting events, focus groups and discussions, provide resources or equipment to support engagement, or help with creative methods of engaging with local communities to share views and insights.
The work should contribute to the goals of engaging with minoritised and diverse voices in conversations about health and care equity, and offer recommendations for improving health and care systems.
There is no closing date for applications, this is a rolling fund. Applications will be reviewed as they are received.
