FUNDING: Arnold Clark – Sport, Cost of Living & Communities

Arnold Clark, the UK’s largest independently run car retailer, has three funds currently open for applications.

  • Gear up for Sport – funds sports kits to support any type of youth sports teams with up to 30 members in the age range of 4-15 years.
  • Cost of Living Support – offers grants up to £2,500 to registered charities and other not-for-profit organisations located within 50 miles of an Arnold Clark Branch. The nearest branches to Richmond are Heathrow (5 miles), Wembley (6 miles), and Chertsey (8 miles). Eligible projects should focus on working directly with those most affected by the cost-of-living crisis, eg. foodbanks, accommodation, poverty relief and where people/communities are the primary and immediate focus of investment.
  • Our Communities Support – gives grants to organisations which provide services which are widely accessible to those within their local communities and address the needs of people living with them, supporting them to a better future. Eligible types of activity include animal welfare that benefits humans, arts and culture, community development, disability, education, recreation, and relief support/mental health support, and where people communities are the immediate focus for investment.

Applications are processed on a monthly basis.

The final deadline for application is 31 December 2024.
