Salary: £6,084 per annum / 6.5 hours per week (Tue & Fri mornings)

This is a very special role to provide holistic health and wellbeing to those who visit the open drop-in at this local community centre in Richmond.

The Vineyard Community & Richmond Foodbank serve the local community within Richmond borough and seek to help people into lasting change through holistic support work and the transformation of individuals in body, mind and spirit.

Many of their guests have multiple and complex needs involving, mental health, drug/alcohol dependency and homelessness.

The centre works with Parish Nursing Ministries UK who are a proven provider in the field of holistic nursing care.

This Community Nurse role will offer personal health screening and holistic health support. It will also provide health education and liaison with outside agencies and local surgeries.

It will report to the Community Nursing Manager and work with the Centre’s Case Worker and Case Workers from the Glass Door charity, as well as external hosted partner organisations such as SPEAR and Citizens Advice.

They are looking for someone with personal commitment to the Vineyard’s mission and core Christian values, who is a Christian as under the provisions of the Equality Act. It is an occupational requirement for the role to be filled by a Christian and the post holder is required to be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Nursing Council with either a RGN, RN, or RMN Mental Health qualification

In addition, you’ll need to have genuine empathy and heart , excellent and proven interpersonal skills, and proven experience of delivering support services to those with multiple and complex vulnerabilities.
