NEW JOB: Board Admin Support, Inspire Hounslow – closes 31 Oct

Salary: £15 per hour (approx – dependent on experience) / 20-25 hours per month (approx)

Would you like to help help support local charities in a neighbouring borough?

Inspire Hounslow is a small charity with a big heart and finances to make a difference by investing in projects to help Hounslow’s young, disadvantaged people.

As their Board Admin Support you will help with day-to-day operations, acting as first point of contact, directing calls and emails, helping with grant applications, preparing papers, taking minutes, and generally being an overall superstar.

Ideally you will have some experience of Board administration and governance matters.

The role is mainly home-based with minimum supervision, so it would suit someone with enough experience to make decisions within guidelines, and sound judgement to know when to escalate.

Their trustees are more hands-on than might be usual for the role, as they are a small charity with one other part-time employee.

This job may suit someone recently retired, someone holding a similar part-time role locally, or someone with formal committee support experience.

There are monthly board meetings you would need to attend, held in Osterley.  It would be helpful if you know a little about Hounslow as their work is specifically in that borough.

If you are inspired to help in this role and would like to apply, request an application pack by emailing grants@inspirehounslow.co.uk.
