JOB: ESOL Coordinator, Learn English at Home – apply by 31 Oct

Salary: up to £32,000 per annum / 35 hours per week

You could join Learn English at Home (LEAH) as an ESOL Coordinator to support asylum seekers, refugees, people who have been trafficked, and migrants to be part of the communities they live in.

This role will lead on the coordination of LEAH’s classes and support their volunteers and clients, both face-to-face and remotely.

You’ll be working in a multicultural environment supporting vulnerable people with limited English, in a role involving the assessment of learner needs, matching them with volunteers, and measuring progression.

You’ll need to be able to work flexibly and on your own initiative, but also have strong communication and team-working skills.

As the work includes assessing the needs of female clients through home visits, it is an occupational requirement that the post holder is female. This is in accordance with the provisions of the 2010 Equality Act (Schedule 9, Part 1, Paragraph 1).

LEAH’s services are currently delivered across Kingston, Richmond and Hounslow. This role will combine remote working with regular visits to their head office in Kingston and community delivery locations.
