Salary: £33,571 per annum / 35 hours per week (maternity cover – hybrid working)

Join a small, dedicated team and take a lead on providing emotional support to adult carers and a commitment to enhancing their health and wellbeing.

This is a full-time role in a well-established local charity where you can build flexibly on your charity career while supporting carers in Richmond.

In this post with Richmond Carers Centre, much of your work will involve actively listening to carers, often via the phone support line, and providing information, advice and support.

As part of the Adult Carers Support Team, you will also be involved in organising breaks for carers, outreach activities and leisure events, as well as group work to help enhance their’ health and wellbeing.

Part of the role will also aim to improve the identification, recognition and understanding of the needs of adult carers, raise their profile and ensure their needs are met.

You’ll also be expected to work with the organisation’s volunteers and to use appropriate monitoring and evaluation reports to show funders what is being achieved.
