Are you a registered charity working with others to tackle health inequality? Partners for Health is open to charities that are developing a response to health and social care inequalities which involve joint working with an expert partner.
This fund from London Catalyst and the Hospital Saturday Fund is accepting applications for a new round of grants of up to £15,000 for social action projects tackling health inequalities in London. The average award made is £8,000.
It is a collaborative programme which aims to encourage partnership between charities and expert health agencies (including NHS and specialist services).
The programme may be of interest to groups supporting clients with long term health conditions, complex needs and/or disabilities.
Applications need to demonstrate:
• positive outcomes for people facing significant barriers to health
• a new approach or thoughtful development of service
• partnership between health and community organisations.
Priority is given to charities with an annual income of less than £500,000 and which have not previously received a Partners for Health grant. Previous grantees are welcome to apply if developing a new initiative.
The closing date for receipt of completed applications is by 5pm on Thursday 1 June 2023.
Shortlisted applicants will be informed by Monday 12 June 2023 and be invited to present to an interview panel. Interviews will take place on Tuesday 18 June 2023. Final decisions will be made after interview.
If you would like to discuss a proposal before applying, you can email Victor Willmott at Catalyst or if you have questions about how to apply, email Ana Vega at the Hospital Saturday Fund.
