JOB: Senior Activities Coordinator, The People Hive – closes 31 Oct

Salary: £15.50 per hour / 20 hours per week

The People Hive is focused on improving the lives of adults with learning disabilities through engaging activities and workshops.

They are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Activities Coordinator to join their team. This position involves supporting the planning and executing of a quarterly activities programme, while also providing mentorship to staff and volunteers.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Operational Development Manager to create and evaluate activities that reflect the organisation’s mission.

You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with documentation guidelines and analysing participation data to assist in outcome reporting. Gathering feedback from clients will also be essential to enhance future activities, and you’ll serve as the go-to person for resolving any operational challenges that arise during activities.

They are seeking someone with a background in activity coordination or a similar role.  Strong organisational and mentoring skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential traits for this position.
