Information sessions for the Young Londoner’s Fund have been announced in Wimbledon and Kingston. The Fund was launched to help children and young people fulfil their potential, particularly those at risk of getting involved in crime.
Three year funding is available in three tiers of Small (£10,000-£30,000 per annum), Medium (£30,000-50,000 per annum) and Large (£50,000-£500,000 per annum).
To qualify, organisations must be:
- legally constituted
- have a proven track record in their work
- and have expertise/experience in delivering the work that is proposed
Organisations should also have, or commit to working towards, The London Youth Quality Mark & Project Oracle Validation Standard 1.
Local information sessions have been arranged to help organisations decide whether this funding is suitable for them to apply for. The sessions will also provide an opportunity to hear from a local applicant, successful in the first round, who will discuss their experience of the grants application system and the nature of the project that they are running.
The two local sessions for the Richmond area are as listed below. Click on the titles for more details and to register for for a place.
- Wimbledon – Tuesday 21 May 2019, 2pm – 5pm (lunch at 1.30pm)
- Kingston – Monday 3 June 2019, 2pm – 4.30pm (refreshments will be available)
There will be further, more detailed, ‘Round Two Information Sessions’.
