Salary: £16,800 per annum (£28,000 FTE) / 22.5 hours per week

The Mulberry Centre is an award winning cancer information and support centre and an independent charity, based on the grounds of the West Middlesex University Hospital in Isleworth. It has has provided services and support to more than 15,000 people over 17+ years.
The Centre is seeking a Welfare Benefits Information Lead to join a small, dynamic team. You will provide support for people affected by cancer or end of life, and help them to access and claim welfare benefits, grants and other financial support. This includes informing them on financial support available, making applications and following these through to their result.
It is a vital role that will suit an enthusiastic and dynamic person with excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with complex matters effectively, both orally and in writing. The ideal applicant will have emotional resilience to deal with people who are or are affected by those at the end of their lives.
You will need to be a compassionate and empathetic individual, striving to make a difference to people affected by cancer, as well as self-motivated and with a positive and flexible attitude.
