Salary £28,000 per annum / 30 hours per week
Richmond Borough Mind supports around 150 volunteers a year, who collectively provide thousands of hours of support to clients, and provides invaluable opportunities for individuals with lived experience of mental health conditions to gain skills and support others.
This is a chance to lead RB Mind’s volunteer services and continue to develop and expand their volunteering and peer-led opportunities to support clients, volunteers and the organisation as a whole.
They are looking for a someone who is passionate about supporting volunteers, empowering individuals and encouraging people to develop their confidence, skills and personal development. You will need to be skilled in motivating and coaching individuals with mental health issues and have an understanding of how the recovery approach can support individuals on their journey to recovery through volunteering.
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and self-motivated and must be able to work on their own initiative. They will also be experienced in delivering volunteer led services and will need to have clear project management skills.
