Salary: £28,000 per annum (pro rata) / 30 hours per week
RB Mind provides opportunities for individuals with lived experience of mental health conditions to gain skills supporting others, which often forms a huge part of their own recovery journeys. This is an opportunity to lead these services.
This role will continue to develop and expand RB Mind’s volunteering and peer led opportunities to support clients, volunteers and the organisation. They are looking for an individual who is passionate about supporting volunteers and who will encourage individuals to develop their confidence, skills, and personal development.
You will need to be skilled in motivating and coaching individuals with mental health issues, as well as an understanding of how the recovery approach can support individuals on their recovery journey through volunteering.
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and a good role model for our volunteers and members. You will be experienced in delivering volunteer led services and able to guide RB Mind’s teams in delivering effective volunteer led support. You will also need to have clear project management skills to support a range of peer led interventions moving forwards.
