NEW JOB: Finance Officer, Ruils – apply by 1 March

Salary: £21,000 – £24,000 per annum pro-rata / 21 hours per week

A great part-time opportunity in the Teddington and Wandsworth offices of this well-established charity, suiting someone who wants to work flexibly in a finance role in a friendly team.

Ruils is a charity that supports disabled adults, people with long term health and or mental health conditions to live independently, be part of their community and to live life to the full. They provide information, advice, practical support, befriending and accessible activities to clients and their families and enable individuals to have choice and control over the way in which they get their support.

The charity runs the Direct Payment support service in Richmond and Wandsworth Boroughs which enables people to employ their own care staff.

The Finance Assistant will be responsible for supporting the main finance function of Ruils, whilst also providing admin support to the Direct Payments team.

For the Finance team this will involve weekly logging of invoices and authorisations and setting up monthly payments.

For the Direct Payments team this will include checking and logging invoices and supporting with admin

Potential applicants for this role might be working or volunteering in a similar role, or looking to return to work part-time to fit around your childcare duties.

You may be a highly numerate graduate looking to get into the charity sector or be working in a financial function in another sector but interested in moving to the charity sector.

Or you may have the skills needed from another combination of work and volunteering. Applicants are welcome from all walks of life, as training and mentoring will be provided.
