The Masonic Charitable Foundation has a rolling programme of small and large grants. They aim to tackle some of society’s most important issues under the four themes of Early Years, Later Life, Medical Research and Hospice Care.
The small grant programme offers up to £15,000 unrestricted funding over 3 years. A maximum of £5,000 to be requested per year. Generally they do not fund more than 15% of an organisation’s average income over the last two years.
Their large grant programme makes awards of over £10,000, with the average grants ranging between £20,000 – £60,000.
There are set application periods and applications are reviewed on a first come first serve basis. It is, therefore, advisable to to make your submissions as early as possible in the funding round. Applications received towards the end of the period may be deferred if the current one is oversubscribed.
