Are you concerned about children and young people’s mental health and resilience? Richmond Mind is one of five local Mind offices in England to receive a Mind / Co-Op Youth Services Systems Change grant and is recruiting for the right person to to join them as soon as possible.
Could you help make a real difference to the mental health of the young people in our borough? Statistics for youth mental health in Richmond are amongst the worst of all London Boroughs. This role has the scope to positively influence the current situation.
The post holder will manage both desk and field research, ensuring the highest ethical research standards in relation to children are maintained. Supported by the national Mind Service Design team you will work through the full Service Design process, to develop and pilot a community-level systems change solutions.
The role will report to the Youth Services Manager and Operations Manager and be supported by a Project Co-ordinator and Support Worker and a team of youth advisers with lived experience of mental health issues.
You will bring strong research experience, working with a range of stakeholders and a demonstrable knowledge of mental health. You will have a flexible, empathic and enthusiastic approach and enjoy problem-solving in a busy environment.
