Salary: £31,000 – £33,000 per annum (depending on experience) / 37.5 hours per week
RB Mind is looking for someone passionate about promoting children and young people’s rights and resilience who could help make a real difference to the mental health of the young people in our borough.
Richmond Borough Mind provides a wide range of services for children, young adults and young carers including one-to-one support, groups, workshops, training, youth peer mentoring and befriending, who may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, low confidence, low self-esteem, loneliness or isolation. They also provide wellbeing workshops and training to those close to young people such as parents, carers, relatives and friends, teachers, support staff and youth and community workers.
This post leads a team of staff and volunteers to identify, develop and deliver services for children and young people across the borough of Richmond. You should bring experience of working collaboratively in a multi-agency environment supporting young people. You may have an education, social work or clinical background, where young people have been a key focus. You will have a flexible, empathic and enthusiastic approach and enjoy problem-solving in a busy environment.
