Salary: £29,000 per annum (pro rata) / evenings and weekends shift rota (part time)
Richmond Borough Mind is looking for a highly motivated individual, with knowledge and experience of supporting vulnerable adults and using the recovery approach in service provision.
RB Mind is a vibrant local charity that has been supporting and providing services for adults affected by mental health problems and their carers for over 60 years.
Journey Recovery Hub is their out of hours crisis service which has been running since December 2019. The service provides support to those suffering from mental health problems, aiming to prevent escalation, reduce isolation, increase independence and self-management and improve mental health and wellbeing.
Applicants for this role should have clear project management skills to support their flexible approach to delivering crisis interventions moving forwards.
You will also be a motivating and inspirational leader, and be skilled at encouraging and supporting a team of staff and volunteers to deliver effective person-centred support for clients. You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
This is a face to face post, based at the Kingston Hub primarily, but you may be asked to cover some shifts at the Richmond Hub too. The work will be delivered in a shift pattern over evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
The closing date for this vacancy is 9am, Tuesday 4 May 2021.
Interviews are provisionally scheduled to take place on 7 May 2021.
