Salary: £24,000 – £26,000 per annum pro rata depending on experience, including OLW / 21 hours per week

Richmond Advice and Information on Disability (Richmond AID) is an organisation of and for disabled people, working to improve access, choice, quality of life and independence for disabled people in Richmond borough and surrounding areas. They are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and highly motivated person to join their team.
This exciting role is suited to someone with great organisational skills and the ability to motivate and inspire people to participate. The applicant will need to able to work on their own initiative, be a ‘can do’ person and be creative.
The Activities Co-ordinator will work with a peer network of disabled people to develop new activities based on need and demand, as well as maintaining the existing range of social activities. The activities provide ways for disabled people to come and together to learn and share experiences with current sessions including an art, books, drama and choir. It will engage disabled people across all impairment groups and across the borough and is shaped by disabled people.
Applicants will have excellent communication and IT skills, administrative skills, be fully competent on Microsoft applications and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
