Barnes Community Association (BCA) is a charity based in Barnes, Richmond upon Thames, which supports voluntary and community activity in the area.
The Executive Director is a key post at BCA and responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure the organisation achieves its mission and goals.
This includes managing day-to-day operations, overseeing staff and volunteers, developing and implementing programmes, and representing the organisation to stakeholders. The role was designed to provide the essential bridge between the board of trustees and staff team.
The priorities for this post include strengthening and improving governance, strategically seeking and securing funding from suitable sponsors, growing the membership in line with the stakeholder voice, and developing Rose House as a vibrant, community hub in partnership with the local community.
To apply, you will need proven experience in a similar leadership role, preferably for a non-profit organisation and/or with a strong understanding of non-profit operations, fundraising, and governance.
You will have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills and the ability to lead and manage a diverse team.
